Here's your route:
Scenic Shuttle Ride
Submarine and Glass Bottom Boat Rides take you one mile off-shore via the Atlantis Discovery shuttle-boat, which presents extensive vistas of the famous Waikiki coastline as well as Diamond Head. Following the 20-minute shuttle ride, you’ll be able to go on a submarine dive, which lasts approximately 40 minutes.
-Climb on board the Atlantis Shuttle Discovery at the Hilton Hawaiian Village pier located in Waikiki
-20 Minute ride to dive site which is right off of Waikiki Beach
-At 75 feet deep, you’ll have a chance to see the Pyramids, the University of Hawaii's artificial reef project that established a secure breeding ground for many types of tropical fish
-At 80 feet deep, you and your group will pass the Pali O Pono natural coral reef which was formed on an ancient lava flow
-At 85 feet deep, you'll be able to observe Japanese-designed and Japanese-built synthetic reefs, which are now home to a wide range of marine life
-At 110 feet deep, you'll see the remnants of two planes as you get to the deepest part of the tour
-Then it's back up to 75 feet, where you'll have the chance to look at the YO-257 tanker, sunk in 1989, and the Korean fishing vessel called St. Pedro which sunk in 1996
-Then it’s back to the surface, where you’ll climb on board the Discovery for a beautiful ride back to Waikiki
Japanese & English Narrated Tours
Tours which occur in the morning offer a live Japanese narration. Tours in the afternoon offer a live English narration. On each and every tour, you’ll have the option of listening to a pre-recorded narration in your own headset, available in Chinese, Japanese, English and Korean.
Days of Operation: Daily
Time: 1½ hours (45 minutes spent underwater)
Children: 12 years old and under pay reduced rate. No infants allowed.
Transportation: Complimentary round-trip transportation to and from Waikiki hotels is provided.
Please note: Passengers must reach a minimum of 36 inches tall and be able to ascend and descend a near-vertical ladder. NO INFANTS PERMITTED.
